The Comprehensive Articulation Agreement Is An Agreement Designed To

As a student of Alamance Community College, you have the opportunity to pursue your academic career at a four-year college or university. The State of North Carolina has an agreement called the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA) between all NC community colleges and the 16 institutions of the UNC system. The North Carolina Articulation Agreement (CAA) is a national agreement that governs the transfer of credits between NC Community Colleges and NC Public Universities and is intended to facilitate student transfer. The Fine Arts Associate is designed for transfer into Fine Arts Bachelor of Arts (BFA) programs. The community student in an AFA program, who completes all courses designed for university transfer with a grade of C or better satisfactory, gets a credit for those courses. However, not all universities in the UNC system have BFA degrees, allowing them to transfer AFA courses as points of choice. Since the AFA standard only covers 28 SHC for general education, AFA students who change must meet the general requirements of the host university. The Associate in Arts (A10100) (AA) is aimed at students who aspire to a four-year degree in one of the disciplines of the free arts or training in a professional school that requires a solid background in the free arts. The revision of North Carolina`s National Articulation Agreement in 2014 resulted in significant policy changes to encourage transfer between North Carolina`s 58 public community colleges and 16 four-year public institutions.

One of the key changes to the directive is that students who have changed under the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA) as a result of obtaining a degree in arts or science associates have been guaranteed the transfer of at least 60 credits and junior level status in a UNC system school. The development of this policy is intended to reduce time to the level and improve the efficiency of the transfer, including the improvement of credit losses and the accumulation of excess credit. Our study aims to understand the impact of CAA implementation on the behaviour of transfer students under the new directive compared to those who transferred before the Transfer Student Behaviour Directive. The Associate in Science (A10400) (AS) is aimed at students who wish to obtain a four-year degree in fields of study such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, science or professional programs, which require a solid mathematical and scientific education. The North Carolina Articulation Agreement (CAA) is a national agreement that governs the transfer of credits between NC Community Colleges and NC Public Universities and is intended to facilitate student transfer. CAA gives certain assurances to the transferring student; For example: The best choice for a smooth articulation with the university is an associate degree in arts or associate in science. Applied science or general education degrees have different blends of general culture, subject to option, and core courses that make them less easy to articulate with high-level institutions….
